Diseases also affect vision. Glaucoma, for example, is a disease that could impair the optic nerve. As a result, the brain’s ability to convert electrical signals into images is damaged. Bright (UV) rays from the sun can cause critical harm to the eyes over time. Two shapes of UV rays can affect vision: UV-A and UV-B. UV-A has been shown to cause harm to a central portion of the retina known as the macula, which serves as a platform for light focused by the cornea and the lens.

UV-A rays can harm your central vision, whereas UV-B rays tend to harm the front portion of the eye, especially the frontal lens and the cornea. Stress is accepted to contribute to a vision loss condition called central serous retinopathy, which happens when liquid builds up inside the eye, particularly behind the retina. The liquid buildup may cause the retina to confine, disabling a person’s vision. Smoking, a smoking habit could be a risk factor for all of the genuine major eye illnesses, counting glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts and diabetic retinopathy.

There are a lot of factors that may affect one’s vision; that is why it is very important to take good care of your eyes and keep them healthy. If you feel any discomfort, irritations and signs of vision loss immediately contact your eye doctor.
